Corresponding authors will receive specific instructions via E-mail about their presentations before the meeting.
All presenters must register for the meeting at which their abstract or abstracts are accepted.
All abstracts accepted for oral presentation must be accompanied by a full, written manuscript. The deadline for manuscript submission is at least 4 weeks before the meeting. Manuscripts must be submitted to Allergy & Rhinology. For further information on manuscript submission, click here
Manuscripts are not required for all other presentations, although the ARS encourages all presenters to prepare a written manuscript. These manuscripts also should be submitted to Allergy & Rhinology.
Allergy & Rhinology is the official journal of the American Rhinologic Society.
Conflict of Interest Policy
The "Conflict of Interest Disclosure Policy" of the American Rhinologic Society requires that faculty participating in any CME activity disclose to the audience any relationship(s) with a pharmaceutical or equipment company. Any presenter whose disclosed relationships prove to create a conflict of interest, with regard to their contribution to the activity, or who refuses to provide all their conflict of interest information, will not be permitted to present.
The American Rhinologic Society also requires that faculty participating in any CME activity disclose to the audience when discussing any unlabeled or investigational use of any commercial product, or device, not yet approved for use in the United States.
All faculty participating in a CME activity and/or any person in a position to control the content of a CME activity must fill out the Conflict of Interest (COI) forms in its entirety.
All parties are required to fill out the COI forms on their behalf, as well as, to the best of their knowledge, information on industry relationships that their spouse/partners may have.
These will be reviewed by the ARS CME Chair and the CME Committee.
If there is a question about the potential for a real conflict of interest, then the ARS CME Committee will contact the faculty and either satisfactorily resolve the potential conflict of interest, so as to allow the faculty to make a presentation by either clarification of the potential COI, or modification of the COI, or not permit the faculty to present at the CME activity, should the COI be real and irresolvable.
